If you come from Playa del Carmen as we did, you'll be presented with an extra bill you'll have to pay on the spot. The "lunch" on board is a meager ham and salad sandwich (no sauce, very dry), and when we asked if they had a vegetarian option for my bf they replied "of course…”

“As it was a 3 hr drive from Merida we chose to use a tour rather than the long drive. The bus was very comfortable and the driver excellent even though there was bad weather returning I felt safe. The site was very crowded but interesting. The buffet and ceynote after was not so nice. We only ate at 2:30 when thought it was noon. There was an additional charge for the cenote. We also stopped along the way to shop which was a waste. If not for the lovely bus I would have rather done it on my own.”

“Manatees are super cute large animals and experience was very cool. In general I would recommend. Please keep in mind that you spend only around 15-20 min with animals feeding them lettuce, cannot swim with them, cannot use snorkeling equipment, cannot take your own pictures or videos in water. At the same time you still can see dolphins, sea lions, water seals and pelicans from around 10 meters. Food is ok. Transport is nice, in smaller boats you can see wild turtles and wild dolphins on the way. For £50 it was worth it.”

“I ended up on the wrong boat, and I kept telling staff back before we got on the boat, then on the boat, and then on Isla Mujeres. I had to go with the wrong group on the snorkelling element of the trip, but they sorted it in time for the lunch and the journey back. Bit of a shame because it was a lovely day, but it would have been better had they listened to me when we were initially boarding the boats.”
