“We had a great time. The buggy ride through the jungle was fun. Hiking to the Cenote was icing on the cake. We enjoyed our swim in the Cenote. On our way back we stopped at a Mayan village. We made up and brought from home, pencil cases with pencils, pens, erasers and Sharpeners and handed out to the children. There were many children and I wished we had pencil cases for everyone. The Guides stopped at a little shop where everyone participated in buying groceries, $5 US per bag for the families. We did extra, we bought snacks for the children that were in the line with their mothers.…”
