“Pros and cons. On the positive side the guide was good and the variety of activities was good. We saw turtles coral stingrays and colourful fish. The photographs were nice and surprisingly we purchased the package (100 usd for 5 people and group shots) The cons. The timing was way off. We were told we would arrive in tulum about 9 (our pick up was 710) but arrived after 10 am. We were told by operator we would be back by 5 so we made dinner plans for 7. We arrived back after 7 pm. A second issue was how crowded the reef area was. We had about 15 people…”

“Our second time on this tour. Took my mother in law this time as she hadn't been to Yelapa before. Staff is very attentive and keep the food and drinks going non stop from start to finish. Super friendly staff. Quality of food and drinks are perfect for this style of excursion. Beautiful views with whale sightings when in season. Snorkeling an chilling with views of the rainforest are fun. Always meeting fun people on the boat. Yelapa although a small little town just fun to see and the waterfall for pictures or another quick dip. Highly recommend. Lastly, it doesnt take all day. Leave early and typically make it…”

But we left an hour later and was sunny, the lunch wasn’t good. At the hotel they say the operator pick people all the time at this hotel.”

“Such a wonderful day out, very well organised and Gato our tour guide was phenomenal. Very physical day with walking and swimming but the cenote was amazing, it is a shame they don’t let you take phone and the photos they take are so expensive but that was the only thing I could criticise. Well done Cancun Adventures on a memory filled day.”

“I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with this company. The night before my snorkeling tour, they texted me saying the activity was cancelled due to “weather conditions” and offered either a refund or a different activity. I asked for a refund. A few hours later they messaged again saying suddenly there was an opening for a different time slot and I could go if I wanted. Then again they said the weather was bad and suggested I switch to another activity. I checked the alternative activities they offered on Viator, and both were listed at $49, which is $10 cheaper than what I originally paid for snorkeling. Naturally,…”

Cancun to Isla Mujeres by catamaran with El Meco snorkeling, open bar, buffet lunch, and beach plus downtown time. Hotel-zone pickup options.

“The boating, snorkel, and island experience was good. The boat crew was amazing and friendly. But my largest complain is for the “SAT company”. Their communication and shuttle team is horrible. The pick up time initially gave a large window of 7am-9am. I spent a week messaging them every day asking for the time with no respond. In the middle of the night before, they decided to message me that pick up time is 9:05am with such a little notice. For the shuttle back, they were initially 30 minutes late. After the driver arrived, he had us sit in the shuttle for another 30 mins. We kept telling him that…”
