Ride rescued horses through the Yucatan jungle, then cool off in a cenote on a small-group tour with pickup from Cancun or Playa del Carmen.

“My daughters and I went horseback riding and swimming in a cenote, and the experience was amazing and unforgettable. This is exactly why I chose to travel with my daughters during the holidays—to teach them the value of life experiences. This trip was exactly what we needed. The horses were beautiful and well-maintained, and everything about this place was stunning. I highly recommend it. It even comes with a hilarious and awesome tour guide and a 'paparazzi' to capture your beautiful moments.”

Hotel pickup jungle adventure: horse, ATV, 4 zip lines, cenote swim, and lunch in about 5 hours for $60.75.

“It was ok. Driver wasn't friendly but got the job done. The staff was friendly. The ATV seat wouldn't stay on and just went in long circles. They said the zip lines was up to 280. I'm 250 and they did not have 1 to fit so I had to skip ziplining. The food was not good and they beg for tips throughout the place after the excursions. You cant bring your phone because they want to charge you $90 for pics at the end. Overall, it was an ok experience. Not something I have to do again with that agency.”

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 349 reviews · 5 hours (approx.) · from $103

Horseback riding in the Sierra Madre from Puerto Vallarta, with river crossings, a waterfall hike, lunch, and pickup included.

“The experience begins with a 45-minute ride to the ranch, followed by a beautiful horseback journey through tough terrain — including multiple river crossings. However, there is very little instruction provided on how to ride a horse. During the ride, my horse got too close to another and was kicked, which caused both the rider in front of me and myself to lose balance and hang on tightly to avoid falling. Afterward, the guide mentioned that I could have directed my horse to keep more distance — something I wish I’d been told earlier. That said, the ride to the waterfall was absolutely stunning and a memory I’ll cherish forever.…”

They charge for the entry fee (which is stated in description) but they ALSO charge you $35 fee pp for riding ATVs or give you the option to do a $500 temporary hold on a Credit Card in case of any damages to the vehicle.”

They didn’t take very many pictures and the ones they did take were not good at all! So disappointing! Our guide (David) was amazing and the place was beautiful- just don’t have anything to show for it, sad!”

“It was a great family activity . However, there were several hidden charges. Ended costing up WAY more than we had planned. You don’t find out until you arrive. It was a 30 minute drive from our hotel RIU. They said it was $85 for 2 1/2 hours. That included travel time and waiting in line then they told us we couldn’t use our cell phones but if we paid each $35 more we could carry our cell phones on the ride to take our own pictures. We each had to pay an additional $25 fee when we arrived. We got our own pictures and they still wanted us to…”
