“I do not recommend this tour, do not book with them. You have to go to their location to pick up a “ticket.” I went and there was no actual ticket to pick up so this process makes no sense. Upon arrival i gave the tour operator my airbnb address which was a 3 min drive or 13 min walk to their location but the operator said it was too far and they could not pick me up. “We made this tour as 4 people with Gonzalo on March 24, 2025. I travel a lot and this tour was the worst experience I ever had. The tour supposed to start at 9 am, but nobody showed up. After trying to contact them and GYG for 45 minutes, tour provider and GYG solved the issue and agreed to take us at 10 am, 1 hour later than usual. “This trip is a good option to move from Tuxtla to San Cristobal and see all the sightseeing in between without a car. The drive is doable although do not expect a guide to explain you around.
